As of early January, Ethiopian Airlines has named AirlinePros International as its General Sales Agent (GSA) in Eswatini. The agreement focuses on promoting Ethiopian Airlines as the preferred carrier for international travel from the country.

The collaboration comes at a time when outbound travel from Eswatini has experienced significant growth and recovery since the COVID-19 pandemic, with international departures increasing by approximately 140% in 2023.

“It [the GSA agreement] is a significant step towards increasing the convenience of travel for our customers in Eswatini, offering them greater connectivity through Ethiopian Airlines’ global network,” said Fundzile Msibi, Managing Director of AirlinePros Eswatini.

The partnership will also boost customer service offerings for agents and travellers in the market. Shreyas Nanavati, CEO of AirlinePros International, emphasized: “We are excited to represent Ethiopian Airlines in Eswatini.
