Eswatini Air has confirmed Lusaka, the capital of Zambia, as its next regional destination. A start date for the new service is yet to be announced.

Flying since December 2022, Eswatini Air reportedly carried 28,000 pax during its maiden year. The airline has said it hopes to introduce additional commercial and cargo routes in the future.

On the two-year anniversary of flights between Eswatini and Johannesburg in March, the airline took to social media and said: “Over the past two years, we have strived to provide our stakeholders with not just exceptional service, but also a unique glimpse into the rich culture and stunning landscapes of Eswatini. As we look into the future, we remain dedicated to expanding our network and investing in our services, all while prioritizing safety and sustainability.”
